Cargo Ramp
| An $11.3 million cargo ramp and taxiway are open for
international air cargo business at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. The ramp, the
cargo warehouse and the
U.S. Customs
Office are the building blocks that will help the Airport become the
newest international air cargo center in the Western U.S. and open new
business markets for Arizona and the East Valley.
The Airport has a partnership with Phoenix Sky
Harbor International Airport to market Arizona to international air cargo
providers.
"This is a complementary relationship enabling
Sky Harbor to continue its focus on passenger service while promoting air
cargo opportunities at the PMG job center, " said Mesa Mayor Keno
Hawker.
