Recycle for Reading Program

Just One More Pound!

Picture of chihuahuaRecycling not only saves the planet but now can also help raise up to $25,000 to benefit your local City of Mesa Library through the Recycle for Reading Program.  For every additional pound of material Mesa residents recycle over last year’s total* between July 1, 2008, and June 30, 2009, a direct contribution will be made to the library for the purchase of new library material.  Reaching this goal is as easy as every Mesa household recycling just one extra pound of material per week.

Here’s how you can help:

1.Learn what is recyclable in Mesa’s BLUE BARREL PROGRAM.

2.Place all acceptable material in your blue recycle barrel at home.

That’s all there is to it!

For more information, call the Mesa Recycling Hotline at (480) 644-2222.
