Furlough Rate Program Information

Appliance Collection

Curbside collection of old, unwanted appliances is available.  Rates start as low as $16.49 per appliance and collected items are recycled.		 Recycling Presentations Available

Charlie the Recycling Chimp is ready to visit your school to teach students about the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling.

 Landfill & Recycling Sorting Facility Workshop

Mesa residents are invited to learn about what happens to their recyclables and how a landfill of today is operated.  Seats are limited; advance registration required. (Session is full; waiting list available)

Single-family home: The Solid Waste Management Department defines a 'single-family home' as any dwelling with one or more of the following characteristics:

  • Free-standing home
  • Condo, townhome, multi-plex or patio home where occupant is the account holder for City of Mesa trash services

As a single-family home resident, you are eligible for the following programs and services:

Multi-unit home: The Solid Waste Management Department defines a 'multi-unit home' as any dwelling where the occupant is not the account holder for City of Mesa trash service.  Examples include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Apartment communities
  • Manufactured or mobile home parks
  • RV parks
  • Condo, townhome, multi-plex or patio homes

As a multi-unit resident, you are eligible for the following programs and services:
