Home Safety Inspection Program

Program Description:

The Mesa Fire Department's Fire and Life Safety Education division offers a free program for all Mesa residents entitled, Home Safety Inspection (HSI) Program.  The HSI Program sends trained volunteers out to the homes of MFD customers' to perform home safety checks.

Home safety checks cover:

• Kitchen/Cooking Safety
• Fire Prevention
• Fall Prevention
• Oxygen Safety
• EDITH (Exit Drills In The Home)
• Smoke Detector Checks/Installation
• Fire Extinguisher Education/Installation
• Pool Safety Check

HSI Volunteers:

Become a trained volunteer for the HSI Program.  Volunteers are always needed for this new program.  If interested in more information on volunteering for this or any other MFD volunteer program, please contact the program coordinator.
