If you have a Utilities Emergency, contact the following:  

Gas Emergencies

Examples of emergencies:

• gas leaks
• hitting a gas line
• carbon monoxide poisoning
• gas odor
• structure fire

Go to a safe location and call the City of Mesa at (480) 644-4277 (GASS) or call 911.

Have all emergency information available. (See Emergency Checklist). 

Electric Emergencies 

Examples of emergencies:

• power outages
• lines down
• lights flickering
• transformer sparking

Water/Wastewater Emergencies

Examples of emergencies:

• Low or no water pressure
• Water leaks in the street
• Leaking or damaged fire hydrants
• Sanitary sewer overflow or back-ups
• Illegal dumping in manholes
• Unauthorized use of the water or wastewater facilities
