Landscape watering reminder for September

Summer is winding down as days shorten, and plant water needs have already begun to decrease. September is when activities begin for seeding winter grass and, once again, we encourage all water customers to consider limiting, or forgoing, this practice. For our top 10 reasons to skip overseeding with winter rye, visit www.Mesaaz.gov/utilities/conservation/10_reasons2not_overseed.

Recommendations below are for plants that are established in the landscape (in the ground about two years).
