Mesa Police Department Trespass Enforcement Program
Are you having problems with
unwanted visitors on your business property? We just might have a solution
for you!
Mesa Police Crime Prevention
officers and
Community Action Team (CAT) officers have
partnered to help resolve trespassing problems on your business
property.
After completion of the letter and it has been received and processed by
the Mesa Police Department, your stickers will be mailed to you to be
placed in a visible location at your business
so officers know you are participating in the program. A patrol officer will then be able to trespass an individual from
your property who does not have a legitimate reason to be there,
without a property owner or manager there. An arrest can also be
made after the person has received one prior warnings from a Mesa
Police Officer.
Please contact the
Mesa Police Department at (480) 644-2300, option 5,
to receive a copy of the Trespass Enforcement Program's authorization
letter or download
the
authorization letter
(PDF). The
trespass
log form (PDF) is also available for your use. Please do not send these to
the police department. They are for your records only. THESE FORMS CANNOT BE ALTERED IN ANY WAY.
** Please note that currently this program is
for businesses only. **
If you are an out-of-state owner,
please note on the Trespass Enforcement Request a
local contact name, full mailing address and phone
number as the stickers are mailed for placement.
