  • The Falcon District was the first to kick off a new neighborhood meeting concept to discuss specific crime issues in those areas. The meetings include neighborhood leaders and Block Watch captains. The response of those who attended the meetings is overwhelmingly positive. The concept will be carried out in the other districts.
  • The Smart Girls Program was started and takes at-risk girls and puts them in a positive, safe environment. It teaches them good decision-making skills and encourages them to have positive self-esteem.
  • Power Hour meets Mondays and Wednesdays for an hour of helping at-risk kids with their homework.
  • Teaming up with Code Compliance to clean up South Allen and the Elton Project.
