Community Action Team (CAT)

Currently there are six Community Action Officers and eleven bicycle officers. Some of these bike officers are School Resource Officers. Both of these units work closely with the local businesses, schools, apartment complexes and residential areas to help solve crime and nuisance problems in neighborhoods within the district. The community response to these units has been very positive, and there are currently two neighborhood offices which officers can go to complete paperwork and do telephone follow-ups.
