Program Background

Since 2004, the Mesa Police Department's Senior Police Academy has provided seniors in our community with an inside look at law enforcement. The academy is designed to provide seniors with an understanding of the operations and resources of the Mesa Police Department. Students will interact with police executives and veteran officers during the academy. The goal of the academy is to provide a greater awareness and understanding of law enforcement's role in our community.
