Mesa Police Department Central Patrol District
Community
Action Team
The Central District Community
Action Team (CAT) is dedicated to improving the quality of life for the citizens
that live within your district. Every beat in the central police district has at least
one CAT officer assigned to the area. Our police district has very unique
police opportunities and challenges due to the heavy population density and
being the oldest part of the City of Mesa.
Progressive Problem Solving
Central
CAT utilizes an aggressive approach to problem solving related to crimes that
affect the quality of life in your district:
-
Street Level Drug Interdiction
-
Prostitution
-
Criminal Nuisance Abatement
-
Minor
Alcohol Abuse Prevention Program (MAAPP)
-
Criminal
Trespass Enforcement Program
-
Burglary Reduction Program
-
Domestic Violence Enforcement Response Team (DERT)
You Can Help
Central CAT gains critical
information about criminal activity in our district from several sources
including other police officers and detectives, the Crime Prevention Unit, Crime Analysis, street sources,
property managers…and You!
If you have substantial concerns
about crime occurring in your neighborhood, we’d like to hear from you.
