In some areas, rising gas prices are resulting
increased gas thefts and siphoning from vehicles.
These steps will help decrease your chances of
becoming a victim:
- Park in a locked garage, if possible
- Consider purchasing a locking gas cap
- Park where your vehicle can be seen by
others
- Make sure doors and windows are closed and
locked
- Do not leave anything of value in your
vehicle
- AND do not leave children or pets unattended
in your vehicle, even for a short period of time
If you do see an suspicious activity around
vehicles, please call 480-644-2211.
