Kleinman Wheels Court

Kleinman Wheels Court  features ramps and rails suited for use both by bike and skateboard enthusiasts.

The new facility has been constructed on the site of four of the park's tennis courts. (Four additional tennis courts remain available at Kleinman for free play.)

Kleinman Wheels Court was made possible in part by a grant from Fox Sports Net, the state's only regional sports cable television network, in association with the Arizona Parks and Recreation Association.  Sponsored by the FSN Arizona and the Arizona Parks and Recreation Fund, funding was obtained from the Municipal Recreation Support Program, designed to assist in the building or refurbishment of municipal youth ball fields, basketball courts and skate parks in low-income or under-served areas throughout the Valley.  The FSN grant covered approximately 50 percent of the project.

The grant, which was submitted by the City of Mesa Parks and Recreation Division, was compiled with community involvement and input from the local registered neighborhood association.
