Senior Softball

The City of Mesa Parks and Recreation Division offers a senior softball program during the Winter.  Registration takes place in mid-November and league play begins in early January.  The league has seven divisions of play ranging from very recreational (light-hearted competition) to very competitive (geared toward the more advanced player).

General Senior Softball League Information

  • All players must be at least 50 years old to participate in the league.
  • There are 7 divisions of play:
    • Division 1:  Very Competitive
    • Division 7:  Very Recreational
    • Divisions 2 thru 6 fall in between the two above divisions
  • All teams are guaranteed 14 games per season.
  • Each team may carry up to 25 players on the roster.
  • Games are played Monday through Thursday during the daytime.
  • Games are played at the Red Mountain Softball Complex:  7808 E. Brown Rd. (Power and Brown), and/or the Skyline Softball Complex:  655 S. Crismon Rd. (Crismon and Southern) in East Mesa.
  • Current League Fee is $460 per team.  Full teams registered only.
  • If you are an individual looking to join a team, you may be placed on the free-agent/players list.  E-mail Mark your full name, phone number, and preferred position(s) played to be placed on the list.  Placement on the free-agent list doesn't guarantee placement on a team, it just makes your information available to coaches looking for players.
