A citizens fundraising committee has been formed to raise money to restore or relocate the locomotive.  Find out more information here or at www.saveourtrain.com.
 

What can my kids do in Mesa this Summer?

Mesa Parks and Recreation
has been offering summer programs for 45 years!!!

Looking for something for your kids to do this summer? Mesa Parks, Recreation and Commercial Facilities offer a wide variety of programs for youth.  Call (480) 644-2352 for more information.

KIDTASTIC-
This half-day program is designed for 4 and 5 year olds who have not started kindergarten.  Children must be able to use the toilet themselves (no pull-ups).

The Kidstastic program is offered on Monday - Thursday from 9:30 am to 12 noon.  There will be theme day, crafts and more.  Cost is $40 per session.

Kidtastic will be held at the following locations: Robson, Patterson, Stapley, Jefferson Recreation Center, MacArthur, Webster Recreation Center, Falcon Hill and Zaharis.

SUMMER ADVENTURE-
This full day program is for children entering 1st - 6th grades.  The program will be held Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, from May 27 through July 18.

The program includes weekly field trips to locations such as Skateland, Sunsplash, Fiddlesticks, movies and bowling.  All field trips and daily swimming are included in the program fee of $98 per week.

Summer Adventure will be held at the following locations:  Taylor Junior High, Mendoza Elementary and Franklin South.
