Historic Districts

To date, eight historic districts have been identified: Evergreen, West Second Street, Robson,  Glenwood/Wilbur, Temple, Escobedo, Fraser Fields, Lehi, and Clark. Five of those districts have local designation--Evergreen, West Second Street, Robson, Glenwood/Wilbur, and Temple (Fraser Fields and Clark are proposed). Of those historic districts, four are listed to the National Register of Historic Places, including:  Evergreen, West Second Street, Glenwood/Wilbur, and Temple, and the Robson Historic District is under consideration by the Keeper of the National Register in Washington, DC.

There are 487 homes within our historic districts and 22 properties are listed individually to the National Register of Historic Places.  In addition, there are seven archeological sites in the city of Mesa.
