About Energy Resources

 

 

The City of Mesa's Energy Resources Department provides safe and reliable Electric and Gas utility services. 

Electric Utility Service

Electric utility service is provided to approximately 15,000 residential and commercial customers located within approximately 5.5 square-miles centered about and including Mesa's downtown area.

Natural Gas Utility Service

Natural gas service is provided to more than 54,000 homes and businesses within the City service area of approximately 90 square miles located in the City limits; and the Magma service area, a 236 square-mile certificated system located southeast of the City in Pinal County, Arizona.

The Electric Utility division of the Energy Resources Department has contracted with Asplundh Tree Expert Co. to trim trees and remove vegetation under or near electric power lines. Read about the project and view Zone 1 map, Zone 2 map, or Zone 3 map for more information.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in Downtown Mesa
