Mesa Gateway Strategic Development Plan Public
Workshop
On December
13 and 14 the City of Mesa
hosted a public workshop for the Mesa Gateway
Strategic Development Plan.
The purpose of the workshop was to collect input from the public,
which is key to
creating a long-term development plan that
integrates land use, transportation and economic
growth in southeast Mesa.
The goal of the workshop was to refine three land
use and transportation scenarios into one draft land
use and transportation plan. The three land use and
transportation scenarios are labeled Concept A,
Concept B and Concept C. The final plan will be a
hybrid of these concepts that includes the best land
use and transportation features of each concept.
The City of Mesa is continuing to gather feedback
from the public about the Mesa Gateway Strategic
Development Plan. The presentations given at the
public workshop are below along with links to the
informational boards that were posted around the
room during the workshop.
