Building Safety -
Permit Services
Permit Services issues a variety of
permits relating to residential and commercial development
activities. Permits may be obtained at either
Building Safety location.
Online application and
permitting is not available at this time.
Construction permits (also known as
Building Permits) are required for most construction
activity that occurs on residential or commercial
private property within the City of Mesa.
Master Plan Housing, Tenant
Improvement, Building, Plumbing, Electrical,
Mechanical, Site Development, Swimming Pools/Spas,
Carport/Garage/Shed,
Home Additions/Alterations/Addendums
Right of Way permits are required for
construction within the dedicated public right of ways
or dedicated public easements. Permits are only
issued to appropriately licensed contractors who have
a
Certificate
of Insurance (.pdf 1 page) form
on file with Building Safety. Additional Information
